Fall Update from Olivia’s Dream!
The fall season is officially upon us! There is a chill in the air and the sound of crispy leaves crunching is all around. Before we head into the excitement of the holiday months, let's take a moment to reflect on the happenings of the last few fun-filled months for Olivia's Dream.
This year, as of October 31, Olivia's Rainbow Response has helped 46 families, donating over $31,000 in aid and supplies to them in the wake of a traumatic event. Another $19,000 has been spent to support the amazing work of some other local non-profits, Camp Hope and Hope Meadows, and to sponsor a record 10 children at overnight summer camps in the Cleveland metro area.
We didn’t stop there. We also hosted two fantastic events with our wider community! However, none of this great work would have been possible without support from our friends, volunteers, & followers. Thank you all!! Together, we can continue to provide a rainbow of support for those in our community that need it most.
In August we hosted Pre-Movie Fun alongside the city of Mayfield Heights ahead of Movie Night in Oakville Park. It was a fantastic day with the local community. Thank you to everyone that worked hard to put on such a fun event. With food trucks, ice cream, face painting, magic, balloons, bubbles, inflatables, games, and music there was truly something for every member of the family to enjoy. We look forward to hosting a similar event for the community again next year. Stay tuned!
Our 5th Annual Olivia's Dream Golf Outing was a day filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to making dreams come true. We raised over $47,000 that day! Thanks to everyone who joined us on the green, sponsored a hole, donated raffle items, or simply cheered us on from afar. Your generosity and kindness are fueling our mission to fulfill Olivia's dream of helping others in need. Every swing, every putt, and every smile on the course brought us closer to making a difference in the lives of children and their families after experiencing the unimaginable.
It's been a busy couple months but time keeps charging on! Our annual Toy Drive for Toys for Tots has been announced and is now in full swing. Please find more information in our previous blog posts or on social media.
